In rigging the fittings & lines section, a choice was given for holding the front/ back panel assemblies taut on the splines of either: (Step #2A) using a combination of bead tensioners and tying off lines between the front/ back panels or (Step #2B) using line tensioners between the front/ back panels.
Depending on which choice was make, the splines are setup as either Option A or Option B below. I seem to be making this much more complicated than it is. ie. Either the arrow nocks on one end of the splines fit into the end rings or the the bead tensioners are used.
