On this page you'll find the plans of Le Karma in a number of different formats.
The original plans of Le Karma are available on Christians web pages.
The plans use a coordinate system to describe the outline of the kite. It also contains the sparring information
and the bridle for Le Karma. The sparring information and the bridle description will also be made available on this page.
You will need some knowledge of French (or use Babelfish for translation) to
interpret Christians plans.
To make things a little bit easier and avoid having to draw your own plan here's a couple of files. Using Christian's original plan we converted those plans to a DXF-, a DWG- and a Corel Draw-version. Based on these CAD-versions we exported it to a number of other file formats. You can use the DXF-, DWG- or CorelDraw-files if you want to 'tweak' your own version. If you want to start right away with building the kite it's far more easier to use the PDF-versions of the plan. We rely on your own experience to convert it to the formats you're comfortable with. In case you think this other format should also be supported, please let us know.

Especially when using the "posterised" plans you will have to be careful with the print-settings from Acrobat reader. When printing the PDF's you will need to disable all the automatic scaling options of Acrobat. Otherwise you could end up with a slightly smaller version of the plans. To help with that there's a small safeguard in the plans: they contain a raster. When printed correctly the raster should give 5cm squares.
