Outline of Frame Construction

It needs a skill of craftmanship to build Edo kite. It is also needed to get good features of bamboo and appropriate Washi.
There are so many brand of Washi which denotes the birth place of Washi in Japan. Washi is the handmade paper made from kozo(Broussonetia kazinoki) fiber. A standard size of 900mm x 600mm of "Kurotani" brand is commonly used for the sail.
