Safety

Instructions

  1. Cut a sail 13"x18", and do your art decorating.
  2. Place wood dowels diagonally corner-to-corner and cut to length. Tape sticks to sail overlapping tape to opposite side of sail.
  3. Cut 2 pieces of string for bridle 3' long. Attach 1 piece at top of kite corner to corner and 1 piece at the center point of top loop to the point where the sticks cross. Sticks are on backside of kite - bridle is on face side.
  4. Make bridle-adjusting loop with 6" string. Tie 2 ends together and larks head to bridle in center location.
  5. Make tail with 2" strip 20' long. Attach each end to bottom corners of sail.
  6. Make fly line 30' or more and wind onto hobby stick.
  7. Attach fly line to adjustable bridle loop. Adjust bridle and hang kite by kite fly line (bottom of kite must hang lower than top). Re-adjust to wind speed.
