Sled Kites
The sled kites do not have horizontal bars, some even do not have vertical bars, they are then replaced by vertical, constricting tubes, kept open by the air pressure during the flight.
That's the reason why the sledkites need the wind for staying in shape, they tend to collapse in instable or turbulent wind.
They're not the best flyers but are, due to the simplicity, very popular.
